Hillside Residence II

Status: UNBUILT

Nestled between two heritage trees and located on a steep hillside, this house bends to conform to its site constraints while providing framed views of Rock Creek Park from various levels. As hard as they are to build on, hilly sites can lead to some of the most interesting design solutions. This house changes shapes and personality as one goes down the hill and around the bend on the road.

The house was fully designed and permitted, then sold to a new owner who chose to redesign (See our Terrace House project).
